Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on how long it takes to get through the course. You have six months to complete Kaplan, but we suggest you take no longer than 5 months. Some agents have completed it as fast as 60 days, others take the full 6 months from start of course to passing the PSI Exam.

After you pass your Kaplan Final you will need to sit for your PSI Exam. The PSI Exam is composed of a variety of multiple-choice questions about real estate law and the ethics and professional responsibilities of the real estate industry. You must pass the Kentucky Exam and the National Exam.

If you join KWL, we will sponsor your schooling through Kaplan. The entire Kaplan process is then free to you. Your first expense will be the background check (~$50), then the PSI Exam ($100), followed by applying for your license and E&O insurance ($150-$200).

E&O stands for Errors & Omissions. The state of Kentucky requires all agents carry E&O Insurance.
